I just finished one of my busiest weeks. I hope to never have to repeat it. Court when well, we have to go back in Jan but it looks like they will drop the case.Normand has been worse, he has just finished a in school suspension his second this year. Won't go into the details too much but it wasn't like him to attack other kids. I also got to go to the dentist and found out I need a root canal or my tooth pulled. Our insurance will cover it in the new year so if anything happens before then it'll get pulled.
Today we went to St.Cath Santa parade, it was packed but the kids had a blast. Next week the Christmas parties start, we don't have as many as we used to have to attend but our calender is still really full. Here's hoping for a relaxing week:)

grrrrrrrr
Well it's Christmas shopping season, the one I dread. Don't get me wrong I love to shop but the crowds suck, checking out shouldn't take 1/2 a hour, parking lots suck too. Good news, I get 3 free hours a day during the weekdays, boys and girls kids club rocks. 25 membership and dinner option for $1 all I can think is wow! I can go back to school after all.
Court was today and everything when ok , we get to go back in Jan which is most likely going to get thrown out. Talked to a sub worker as the one assigned to us is sick(again!) and she agreed every thing has been done that can be done, our area just doesn't have the programs for kids with mental health issues, shocking as In Canada, suicide accounts for 24 percent of all deaths among 15-24 year olds and 16 percent among 16-44 year olds. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for Canadians between the ages of 10 and 24.8 Seventy-three percent of hospital admissions for attempted suicide are for people between the ages of 15 and 44.People with mood disorders are at a particularly high risk of suicide.Studies indicate that more than 90 percent of suicide victims have a diagnosable psychiatric illness, and suicide is the most common cause of death for people with schizophrenia. Both major depression and bipolar disorder account for 15 to 25 percent of all deaths by suicide in patients with severe mood disorders. For a killer deasease it just isn't talked about, yes Normand isn't depressed but the rate of deaths cause by mental illnesses is staggering.Canada needs to wake up and actually stop waisting tax dollars and do something.

play forts, cookies and video games, that's what boys are made of:)
Tonight for the second night in a row we had no issues at bed time:) It's 6:00 and only one more kid to shower. Today Normand's big thing was building a fort, of course I had to pull him from the trees at the park and convince him the back yard was cool. I then did what "bad" parents do and allowed the kids to play with halo for 3 hours straight. I have been baking with the kids lately and today was cookies and yesterday was banana bread. Jeremiah and Rebecca really enjoy that,of course I have to also keep Normand entertained. Jeremiah likes to read the recipe for us and Rebecca's favorite part is licking the spoon.
Yesterday was Rebecca's first day of school, she seemed to enjoy herself, today she fell asleep on the bus the short 3 block drive. She's been so cute about wanting to go to school ,a little boy gave her a welcome back card:)

ummmmm ok
Yesterday while washing the floors a lady from child services come to serve me with papers. Apparently the worker I had wanted to come in "legally" Many things on the paper were twisted and things left out. Kind of like the came"telephone" we played as kids then twisting it so that they look good. Of course I don't have much proof other then they wrote the school had no concerns about Normand as the school wrote the Dr about the concerns they had(the school gave them a copy of the letter). I can so see how people end up losing their kids as my words were twisted . Now I'm going to have to get a lawyer to look over the false documents.Lets see if I can raise leagel hell:)
On a good note Normand was referred to a service quite like nanny 911 that will help us control his behaviours or least help for 12 weeks!, and I'm signing up the boys at the boys and girls club soon. They have many programs so one has to be well suited for him.

My itouch is gone,so is my phone:(
My itouch has disappeared, actually Normand took it and doesn't know where it went, funny thing is he has a good memory so we think he's given it away. My phone is also gone, he had my charger so we know he has my phone or at least had my phone,I desperately needed my phone for when i go back to school so I ended up ordering a new one which should come in shortly. When I was talking to Normand about it and how I needed my itouch for school because of the calculator ap, his reply was"use your phone's calculator!".
Yesterday Normand was on the porch and trashed it so last night we tried to get Normand to clean it, less then 10 mins later he was gone, we searched for 45 min in the dark looking for him! He ended up bugging a lady down the street. He could figure out why we were angry!
Now some good news;)I am cleaning out the basement so that I can build a nice enclosure for my dinosaur. He's only 10 inches(head to tip of tail) now but could get up to 4 feet. This picture is the picture of him when I got him a few months ago(3-4 inches) he's much bigger and stronger now:)

Can I get a break please?
This week has been quite busy, the major appointment being supervised access. My ex hasn't seen the kids in 10 years and out of the blue he wants to see them. We do have a court order for supervised access so I can't say no. The center is quite a distance away and I'll have to ruin my sat. mornings every week, which honestly sucks! I ask the lady what they expect me to do for the 2 hours, her reply is that the seaway mall is close by grrr! Wesley could care less either way but Normand feels ripped off so he's constantly talking about how he's going to get so much things off his dad because he owes for 10 birthdays LOL!
Normand's obsession with knifes has picked up this week, numerous times I've taken sharp objects away from him, yesterday a box cutter and today we discovered a new pocket knife that was bought with the stolen money! When will this end, I ask for help but all I get is give him his meds. They don't work , he needs way more help then that. Help that I requested since he was 2, of course it's getting worse and really soon he's not going to be able to function at all ,he's not really meshing with real life and he's 10. School he does nothing, at home he doesn't even have anything he really likes. Wesley love sports/video games, Isaiah like crafts/his bike, Normand likes sharp objects/fire/looking through peoples garbage and bringing it home, see the problem? I'm not asking for a perfect child be almost normal one would be great. I swear if he doesn't get help soon I'll find him help even if I have to hospitalize him!

Where did my money go!
Last night I did some late night shopping. I was checking out and I realized all my money had disappeared! It's so stressful when you realise someones stolen off of you, even more so when it's your own kid. I when home to confront the "thief" who goes by the name Normand and he gave me the change that was left of his $30 spending spree. Apparently while I was baking cookies he took the money ,when to the store and spent my money on treats for his "friends". How did he go and come w/o me knowing ? He used the upstairs window! I though he was playing nicely with the half broken Thomas, that he destroyed his brothers! That money could have bought many things, a half a goat for world vision, a new movie, a new christmas tree heck even a hair cut for me! Just once I wish he would do something "text book" style, you know the behaviors that are easy to discipline. What should I do? take Christmas away?buy medical restraints? He always steels off of us and in the last 2 weeks has stolen more then $60 and broken/stolen tons of things that we never get back because he either dismantles them or gives them away . The younger boys have no toys, he's broken them all. I have no "woman" things either as he waists all of my beauty supplies btw, solid shampoo bars are hard to wash off and massage bars don't work that well after it is used as play dough.

Loopa bowl rocks this house!!!!
Today in the mail came the new crazy for Rebecca ,it's the loopa bowl. http://www.loopabowl.com/default.aspx This bowl is so much fun, we tried alot of things in it so far and I give it a 5 star, a gift for my new twin nephews that they can use in the future as they are still tiny little guys. Obtaining the package was fun too. Normand discovered it on my porch and took it to the guys next door to ask them what they thought was inside, the problem is he's misplaced packages before.
Sorry, I can't find my cords to my camera so no pics .I reordered them so It'll take a while to come in. Ebaying is my life lately. I get all my electronic accessories for less then sales tax, gifts for Christmas less then 1/2 the price. I also like buying odd Japanese items really cheap that seem to make life happier:)

Why blog?
I decided to keep a blog as I have many interesting stories about my life;) Actually it's a way to distress and personally I need that.
Today was quite frustrating, really living with a child with a mental health issue is something else. I love him but boy does he make me so upset. Our afternoon goes like this: I go to the fridge to get the cookie dough I made earlier,to my surprise it's half gone. I call Normand down from his room and he has a half a tuna sandwich he made upstairs grr, tell him to bring down the tin and can opener(which he steals all the time!). Well, he didn't even get upstairs as he left the house. I go and look for him he's vanished. I continue to make what's left of my cookies and I hear a bang on the door, one that felt like someone was kicking the door. Normand wants in and I have cookie dough hands! I open the door he just has to show me a old bus sign he found! I get him in the house and check his pockets, He had my new hello kitty pen and the blade off of my scrapbook cutter! The night gets worse....
On the upside I made a new cookie recipes, bought Christmas gifts at a huge discount $130 worth for $2.00. My Hawaiian papaya beetles(aka Dubai) came in so soon I won't have to buy any crickets for my many beasts.
